Lydia Embry is DMV based multi-disciplinary artist and documentary photographer, and recently graduated with a BFA in Photojournalism at the Corcoran School of Arts and Design at The George Washington University.

Her artistic practice encompasses many different mediums, including painting, printmaking, drawing, fiber arts, alternative photographic methods, documentary photography, and ceramics. The overarching themes of community and connection are present throughout her work, her photography specifically focusing on communities brought together by shared passions, like the D.C. skateboarding and DIY music and art scenes.

Lydia loves surrounding herself with artists, musicians, and other creatives.
